Kids in Developmental Science
Kids in Developmental Science (KIDScience) at the Johns Hopkins University is a collaborative initiative that brings together research groups within the Hopkins community that seek to understand cognitive development. Our studies explore how children reason about the world, learn new words, track objects and numbers, and make sense of social interactions. We invite children of all ages, from three months of age and older, to participate in our engaging and interactive studies, which take place both in person and online at the Johns Hopkins Homewood campus. Families who join our studies contribute to groundbreaking research while their children enjoy fun activities. All studies are designed with children’s well-being in mind and follow strict ethical and privacy guidelines.
